The chaplaincy committee of the Full Gospel Fellowship of Churches and Ministers International, Inc. was formed for the express purpose of helping and assisting ministers who desire to minister in the pluralistic religious faith community of the military and other institutions such as hospitals, hospices, prisons, etc.
Those ministers seeking to do ministry in these institutions on a permanent basis are called Chaplains. This title is given to these ministers to make distinction of ministry as clergyman.
A chaplain may hold other ministerial offices such as Bishop, Pastor or Evangelist, etc., but rather is a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ with a special God given call to minister in the pluralistic religious community of those in the military and other institutions outside of the “Church Organization”, such as hospitals, hospice, prisons, etc., with all courtesy.
A chaplain must be able to minister to people without asserting his or her doctrinal beliefs on the person or persons he or she may be ministering to, without compromising his or her principles of faith, and yet minister to the needs of a person with Christian love and understanding of the other person’s faith. “He that winneth souls must be wise”.
Our chaplains must serve in respect of and in submission to these institutions rules and regulations respectfully. And must also be in submission to the oversight of this organization and its chaplaincy committee which endorses chaplains of this the Full Gospel Fellowship of Churches and Ministers International, Inc. according to its by-laws.
